The images and biographical notes below are an introduction to our leaders. As a Presbyterian Church, belonging to the Free Church of Scotland, we are led by a group of elders called The Kirk Session, one of whom serves as the 'teaching elder' or Minister and the others who serve with him in pastoral care and leadership roles.

Rev. Angus M Lamont Angus was ordained to the ministry in 1996, and went on to serve for one year as an assistant minister at Smithton-Culloden Free Church of Scotland, Inverness. He came to faith in 1990, thanks to God using the preaching of Rev. William R Mackay and Rev. David Meredith. A desire soon developed to study the bible and communicate its message. This coincided with a stint as volunteer teacher at Colegio San Andres, Lima, Peru.
After graduating B.Ed(hons) from Moray House Institute of Education, Heriot Watt University, Edinburgh, Angus entered the Free Church of Scotland College. Graduating (DipTh) in 1996 he looked to serve the church in missionary work in Peru. After four eventful and faith-building years in Peru, Angus received and accepted a call from Dornoch Free Church. Beginning his ministry there in May 2001 he continued until August 2009. LCPC called and Angus accepted. The induction was on 12th September 2009.
Angus is married to Anita, and they have three children. He loves his Lord, his family, his football, his guitars, and his Yamaha Fazer. He plays guitar, and has retained an interest in rock, pop and traditional music from his days in an 80’s rock band. He now writes music including some contemporary style tunes for the psalms. Angus is a lifelong supporter of Ross County FC – the greatest football club in the Highlands.

Angus Martin Angus has been a communicant member since 1983. Elected as a Deacon in 1988 and as an Elder in 1993, he has been closely involved in LCPC for more than 20 years.
As you may have guessed Angus is a Scot, and started going to the Free Church (in Stornoway) at about the age of 6 weeks. Born into a Christian home, he has been aware of Biblical truth all his life but it was not till coming to London that God spoke effectually to him.
Angus came to London in 1981 'for a couple of years' with a degree in Geography and a burning desire to leave home, see the world, and be an accountant! Not long after arriving he met and married Carelien who hails from the Netherlands. Today they have 4 children (Stuart 17, Fiona 16, Philip 12 and Alexander 4- well almost 5!) all born in England. With close family split fairly evenly between Scotland and Holland, London is a convenient, if challenging, location.
Working in Central London (as an Accountant for a Travel Agent) Angus has been able to mix a hectic London lifestyle and bringing up a family with contributions to the life of congregation and has always has been convinced he was fulfilling God's plan for him in LCPC.

Peter Fraser Peter comes from the Lochaber area of Western Highlands of Scotland. Having studied Electronics and Electrical Engineering at Glasgow University and worked for a number of years in Edinburgh he moved "down south" to do an M.Sc. The planned year in London has now extended to over a decade during which he met his wife Fenna. Peter was elected an elder in 1999 and is the Session Clerk - Secretary to the Kirk Session.
Peter is a Software Engineer and, in denial of his fast disappearing youth, still likes to play football regularly.
